Sarah Castille
When Sarah Castille was 6 years old, she decided that when she grew up, she was going to get a perm, move to Paris, and become an artist, writer, and a fashion designer. With the exception of the perm, her aspirations have not changed since. She has written on topics ranging from business and financial news to art galleries and literary reviews and is passionate about using writing as a way of understanding and interpreting the world around her.
Sarah holds a M.A. in International Economic and Political Studies from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Her final thesis treated the relationship between political and aesthetic theory as revealed in the development of European Political identity. She graduated from Colby College with a B.A. in English and French Literature and studied French literature, linguistics, and aesthetics at L'Université de Paris III and L'Institut Catholique de Paris. She has taught English literature and ESL for a number of years and most recently taught courses in Organization Theory and Cultural Studies at Tiffin University Prague.
When she's not writing, Sarah enjoys painting, riding her massive Soviet bike around the streets of Berlin, and sewing dresses for her slowly burgeoning clothing line. She is also an avid yoga practitioner and a committed vegetarian with a guilty weakness for Italian leather shoes.
